Introducing NMDP, formerly known as the National Marrow Donor Program and Be The Match. Our name has changed but our mission has not: We save lives through cell therapy. 

For patients diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma and other life-threatening diseases, a bone marrow or cord blood transplant may be their best or only hope for a cure. Yet 70% of patients who need a transplant do not have a fully matched donor in their family. They depend on NMDP^SM and our supporters to find a match to save their life.

We also provide one-on-one support to patients and their families throughout the transplant journey. We connect patients battling life-threatening blood cancer and blood diseases with ordinary people who can save their lives.

The NMDP Registry^SM is the most diverse registry in the world, connecting adult donors willing to donate to a stranger in need with searching patients. We work every day to save lives through transplant, but we cannot do it alone. Finding a life-saving match depends on shared genetic traits and ethnic background.
