In the eye of the storm of COVID-19, 100 Roses From Concrete created the G.R.O.W.T.H. Initiative. In partnership with the Advertising Club of New York and Save the Internship New York, and in collaboration with Publicis Groupe’s PlowShare division and Extreme Reach, over 50 talented and diverse students were selected from across the country to participate in this immersive experience.
The “GIFS” Growth Initiative Fellows, gave eight weeks of their summer learning, growing, and developing quality creative campaign work for four deserving nonprofit organizations: City Living NY, CONNECT NYC, Live Light Live Right and RAISE.
In placing our PSAs, you help honor the endurance and celebrate the work of our GIFs, but also raise awareness for some of the most impactful nonprofits in New York City.

City Living NY is a unique, holistic after-care program, working with our clients to overcome complex and varied challenges in order to have the same opportunities as any young adult on the road to independence.
The “Little Things” campaign highlights the little things society can do to make a big difference in helping youth aging out of the foster care system to achieve their personal goals and reach for their dreams. |

CONNECT NYC: Draw The Line
CONNECT NYC is committed to building safe families and peaceful communities. But it is up to us — as people, citizens and New Yorkers — to be a part of the change; it is up to us to commit to joining this community. Because a community that supports and empowers its members is one worth belonging to.
The “Draw the Line” campaign raises awareness for the unique programs and innovative ways to prevent domestic violence and promote gender justice. |

Live Light Live Right: It Takes a Village
Live Light Live Right inspires, educates and transforms children suffering from obesity so they can lead productive, healthy lives. Childhood obesity is an epidemic in America. But it is a crisis in poor communities like Brownsville, where two-thirds of kids ages 5 to 11 are overweight. Live Light Live Right, a non-profit organization based at Bridgepoint Health, provides comprehensive care at little or no cost to the families we serve.
The “It Takes a Village” campaign recognizes that it takes a village to tackle obesity and raises awareness on a community approach to healthier family lifestyles. |

Raise: #RAISEtheBar, 2020
Millions of Americans have worked in restaurants. So, millions of Americans know what it’s like to work in a restaurant.
Restaurants Advancing Industry Standards in Employment (RAISE) urges restaurant owners, workers, and customers to help raise the standards for that work. The #RAISEtheBar campaign highlights the relatively lower norms that have become commonplace in restaurants.
When you share this PSA, viewers are reminded that restaurant workers deserve fair treatment. Please support RAISE’s efforts by placing our PSA in your active rotation so viewers become advocates for change in an industry that impacts so many lives. |
